About Us

Who Are We?

unMadeGaming is a veteran-owned and operated tabletop roleplaying network focused on story-telling, improvisation, and humor. We are a “beer ‘n’ pretzels” tabletop entertainment experience themed for adults, and as such, some of the topics we hit on (and some of the flavors of jokes) tend to be more towards an adult nature (or at least not for kids).

Safety

At unMadeGaming we want to make the safety of our community our most important mission. As such we have developed a new position, one that can hold everyone involved accountable, the Community Resource Liaison.

As an additional step, a form has been created for anyone to leave feedback if they have ever felt uncomfortable or unsafe while watching or participating in the unMadeGaming Community. The responses to this form are anonymous (unless you chose to include your name). All responses go to the Community Resource Liaison alone, for further consideration and action.

Safety Tools

Sometimes games have content or situations where a player or GM may feel stressed out, unsafe, or otherwise not having fun. Safety tools are a way for players and GMs to communicate and check-in before, during, and after a game in order to make sure everyone is still having fun, and to provide the right support when needed. As an actual-play being streamed or otherwise recorded, there is an added pressure to maintain “continuity” and performance that can cause people to be more reluctant to use safety tools, and therefore it’s more important than ever to uphold them and make them easy to use. The most important part of using safety tools in online games is that everyone agrees as to what tools the virtual table is using and how they will be implemented. During Session 0 we will discuss what tools best suit us, and which method we’ll be implementing them into our games.

Monetary Transparency

unMadeGaming has worked with other streamers and businesspeople to provide a system in which we can give back to the cast. As such, 100% of the tips given to any show are totalled and split among the players of that show at the end of the season. Each season will conclude with a form asking for your name, your paypal email, and the show you are associated with, and will contain the payout options: Payout, Donate (Extra-Life), Split Among Cast, Production.

Patreon and Twitch subscriptions are the primary way that unMadeGaming receives funds, almost all of which goes right back into production, for art assets, paying writers, and paying editors. The only funds not used for production are those set aside for travel expenses to tabletop conventions.
